| Coming January 2009 The Dance The Guide to Communication With Higher Self Through Movement by Sydney Lok. Introduction: About God written by Sydney Lok
Today, people either love Him or hate Her or just "run" when they hear the word. The Religionists vow that their sole religion or religion sub-type (Jehovah's Witness, Mormon, Muslim, Catholic, Protestant, Born Again, etc.) will be the only vehicle which can drive, fly or teleport to Heaven. Each claim and would go to war over their exclusive "copyright on God," and this is very uncomfortable. People would rather learn to "pole dance" than "Dance With God". What if God wasn't into Religion? What if God really was the Real Deal? What if God was Love without condition, without an agenda, without reward or punishment.

| Coming September 2009 Just Me and the Trees A Children's Guide to Meditation by Julia Cohn
Forward:
Things weren’t going so well for our family. Yes, my husband and I had a happy marriage and two healthy, wonderful children. Logically, what more could you ask for right? Yet for some reason we both seemed to be getting way too frustrated with them, way too often. My husband and I were having a tough time figuring out an adequate way to channel my 5-year old son’s raw enthusiasm for life. He is a very high energy young man who clearly needed an outlet. As did we!
For me, I saw the stresses of daily life with two small children (my daughter is 3) slowly chipping away at me. Then, my negative, inner-chatter began to permeate our entire family. I knew something had to change.
I turned to meditation and Yoga, two practices that had helped me through trying times in the past. Eventually, I became more peaceful. That’s when I had an epiphany of sorts. I decided to share what I was doing with my children. To my surprise, they loved doing the practices. The morning ritual of breathing, I believe, is helping us all to have better days. And one of the best parts: it takes less than ten minutes.
Sometimes, when we’re having a rough moment during the day, we’ll all just pause, close our eyes and focus on our breathe for a moment. It sounds so simple, but it really works. It gets us connected. We definitely feel better now. Most times we are enjoying ourselves, rather than living with the constant stress of not knowing what is driving us.
I truly want to share my experience and this simple yet profound practice with other families. “Just Me and the Trees” is a guide to help parents and kids. It helps parents teach their children how to center themselves and become more peaceful. I know this book will bring harmony into your daily lives and make family life happier. It did for me.
